Castañer designed its first wedges for Yves Saint Laurent in the late ’60s and has produced so many covetable versions since. This ‘Campesina’ pair is made from hard-wearing beige canvas and features ribbon ties that wrap-around the ankle. The 50mm jute sole is a comfortable height for long walks around town or dancing until the early hours.
